Eileen "Barbara" Center Walford

Eileen “Barbara” Center, 92 of Lambertville, MI, died Saturday, November 30, 2013 in her home.  Born March 23, 1921, in Bedford, England, she was the daughter of Cecil and Daisy (George) Walford.  Barbara served in the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corp in England during WWII.  After the war she moved to the United States and was employed by several companies for 40 years.  Notably, she worked for the Ohio and Michigan Paper Company, Baron Steel Corporation, DeVilbiss High School and Manpower International, as the office manager.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Jack Center of Homosassa, Florida and sisters, Gwen Cox and Vera Zahm.

Barbara is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
